I thereupon in accordance with the instructions contained in Your Lordship's despatch No. 177 of the 28th of August last, requested H. de Bovis to telegraph to his agents in London to deposit with the Crown Agents for the Colonies, Indian Government enfaced paper to the equivalent value ($283,333.33) of the Bonds proposed to be withdrawn, and to request the Crown Agents to notify this Government of the receipt of the substituted securities.
